Design Notes

Halogenases in E. coli have suffered from low solubility or required coexpression of chaperones。Therefore, an additional strategy to enhance the solubility of halogenases in vivo, compatible with whole-cell reactions or metabolic engineering, is necessary to increase their activity as well as the yield of target molecules.
